Okay, I have a home page (sort of), so I figured my new car needs a home page. My previous car, a 1986 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon was a car I bought for $200 out of necessity, expecting it to last about 6 months, maybe less. Well, it ended up lasting 3 years. I miss it, but I'm also enjoying the fact that I have a really nice looking car now. |

Spoiler, fog lights, and the fact that it's a Chrysler product. | Missing front-right mirror, more cargo space than you can shake a stick at, surprisingly fast pickup (well, until it died), and secret compartments to smuggle rebel spies. |

As you can see from this photo, the dealer that I bought this from took out a section of the pinstripes to put their logo on the back. I took the logo off, but I need to find a replacement for that section, which I have been unsucessful. If anyone knows where I can get light gold 1/16" pinstripes, e-mail me. I'd even appreciate it if we could arrange to have it shipped here (the package should only be about $3). |
Update: While walking through Fleet Farm looking for a replacement fog light bulb (it amazes me that Fleet Farm's automotive center is SO MUCH better than an all-automotive store like AllCar), I noticed that they had a large selection of pinstripes. No light gold 1/16" stripes, however they did have burn gold 5/16" dual stripes, which is basically a 1/16" stripe, a 1/8" clear stripe and a 1/8" stripe. The color does not match perfectly (I am still looking for light gold), but unless you're right up on the back of the car, it's not noticable. (BTW, that photo is not real, just a touchup of the first photo.) |
